 Laura Henderson lives in a little house, in a quiet neighborhood surrounded on every side by her not-so-quiet children. She's not exactly sure how she found time to write her book, though ignoring the laundry was helpful. Over the years, the happy, bustling children succeeded in imploring their mother to tell dozens of Knookerdoodle stories until one day her 6 year old son said wistfully, "Wouldn't it be great if we invented Knookerdoodles?" To his utter shock, his mother said, "We did." Thus began the beginning of writing one story down. Like her own household, Laura hopes Knookerdoodles will bring a sparkle to your family and joy to your child's heart.

Illustrator

Andrew Cherry is an illustrator, storyboard artist, and oil painter based in Austin, Texas. Andrew grew up in Houston where he would illustrate his favorite movie scenes as a child. He was classically trained in oil painting and won grand prize for his oil painting at the Houston Rodeo in 2004. He studied film at Savannah College of Art and Design where he was awarded a “Scademy” for best screenplay for his short film. He loves spending time with his wife and is inspired by Jesus, his Father, and Lecrae.
