Laura Henderson lives in a little house, in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded on every side by her not-so-quiet children. Many years ago, before Laura had children of her own, she began telling Knookerdoodle stories as a classroom teacher. Her students loved the stories and would often come to class telling her they saw a Knookerdoodle.
As the years passed and children of her own arrived, Knookerdoodle stories left the classroom to live quietly in Laura’s home. One fateful day, her 6 year old son said wistfully, “Wouldn’t it be great if we invented Knookerdoodles?” To his utter amazement, his mother said, “We did.”
Now Laura is back in the classroom teaching art, which is an adventure all it’s own. She is still writing and hopes Knookerdoodles will bring a sparkle to your family and joy to your child’s heart.
